Rounders - Special Edition [1998]
Greatest film ever?

Academy Award winner Matt Damon ("Good Will Hunting", Best Original Screenplay, 1997; "Ocean's Twelve", "The Bourne Supremacy") and Edward Norton ("The Italian Job", "The 25th Hour") star in a gripping story of passion and risk involving today's hottest game - high stakes poker. After losing nearly everything playing cards, Mike (Damon) gives up gambling for law school and a fresh start. But then his best buddy (Norton) gets out of prison and in over his head with a ruthless card shark John Malkovich ("Being John Malkovich"). From there, Mike's strong sense of loyalty - and the lure of the game - draws him back to the tables in a gamble he cannot afford to lose. Featuring all-new bonus materials, this must-have Special Edition DVD includes "How to Play Poker" set top games, tips from famous real-life poker champions and much more!

Tilt: The Complete First Season
Most people won't have heard of this as it hasn't aired in the UK. I have seen the entire series and it is amazing. It centers around 3 hustlers and ends in it's climax at the WSOP main event final table. Mike Madsen is a former WSOP main event winner and the likes of Negreanu and TJ Cloutier have cameos in it.

The Cincinnati Kid [1965]
The original and coolest poker movie ever.

Winning At Poker
WINNING AT POKER does exactly what it says on the tin; it offers a complete overview of how to play a winning hand from opening strategies to heads up action. And if you're going to learn the game, you might as well learn from the best: Jesse May, poker legend Tony G (aka The Mouth from Down Under), and rising star Noah 'Exclusive' Boeken. Find out how to protect and steal blinds, play low stacked or high stacked, play around 'the bubble' and make moves from key positions. These stars will show you how to study betting patterns, analyse body language, and react to slow or aggressive play. The 2006 WSOP Tournament of Champions winner Mike Sexton is also on hand to impart his top ten tips and reveal his World Series-winning secrets.
